It's funny that I don't even paint my nails and then I would catch Anzu doodling her nails with a red pen in the corner while I am busy with my chores at the kitchen.

It was the reason why there was a sudden unusual silence in our living room during her most Peak Hour. Good thing it was washable and non toxic.

Yeah it happened some few weeks ago.

The mouse is doing something while the cat is away lol

It's not unusual to see people wearing surgical mask in Japan especially when Spring time starts as Japan gets a whammy of cedar pollen which leads to runny noses, watery eyes and coughing. People with Pollen Allergy wears mask primarily to protect against the pollen.

Out of respect when one is sick, surgical masks are also worn to prevent the spread of germs when coughing and breathing. That is one of the nice things about Japanese, they care for others, such good citizens.

This year is a sort of a bit unlucky for me. As much as I love Spring, I feel bad because Im already one of those who wears mask everytime I go out. There's something in the air that makes me uncomfortable because of pollen allergy . Those whammy and evil POLLENS! I guess I have to wear masks til Spring is over uhhhggg

Anyway, surgical masks are available for kids too. There are various  cute designs to choose. I bought Hello Kitty Mask for our kawaii Patootee tehee..

Don't worry. Azumi doesn't have Pollen Allergies. But I'd like her to get used to wearing it just in case.. She still gets uncomfortable after few minutes

Wish I can also wear mask without having a weird reaction from anyone in Manila lol

I think spring is almost here in Tokyo that I don't need to wear a down jacket during the day, although it’s still cold and windy during at night. This past few days, I'm having this "sneezing phenomenon" which really makes me uncomfortable especially when I'm at work. Guess what's the culprit? THE CEDARS! In this season, pollen flies all at once and causes alot of people to have Hay fever.

Anyway, before I blog more about the loveliness and not-so-good about Spring time ( which is actually my favorite of all seasons ) in my next posts, let me share you some of Anzu's snowy photos taken last month.



Snow in Tokyo is a rare occurrence, maybe once a year and mostly only for a moment. That's why we had a pleasant surprise when it started snowing~ on Valentine's day itself, very romantic though but not when you're driving on your way home. We were on our way to Red Lobster when the snow started to fall and it blanketed the highway in just few minutes.

I'M BACK!

It's been awhile since I last blogged and wow, I looked at the date of my last blog post and i can’t believe how long it has been since i last posted an update. Sorry for leaving this blog without a decent post. for being a "missing in action". A lot things have happened, good and some bad.

I miss you all so much. I miss blogging and reading your blogs. I haven't been really on my real geek side eversince we came back home from our beloved country, Philippines. I've been so homesicked and gratefully, it only took me a couple of days to deal with it.

One thing I've learned (to the years of going back and forth ), when you're feeling homesick, sometimes there is really nothing you can do, you just might have to ride through it. There are plenty of things that you can do to make yourself pre-occupied.

Uh yeah speaking of, I've never been busier this couple of months. This makes sense why I couldn't log my mind in to decent updates lol

August-September

Quite an eventful months huh?

Well this month will be the busiest I guess.. BUT I promise to keep you updated.

We had the first snow of the season in Tokyo last monday night, February 1, 2010...



It's hardly ever snow here in Tokyo.. Usually it's just a day of two in the whole winter season. I haven't experience yet making a Snowman nor snowballs.. I thought I can let my lil dolly have her first snow experience the next morning but geesh, the sun shined so early than the usual, the ice was melting lol..

It was also frustrating to take my dolly's first snow photos ( er maybe I was just lazy to go out coz it was really freaking cold )

Looking forward for our lil Anzu's first real Snow Experience next year... hmmmm

Whatta year it's been.. During this past year Anzu turned from a baby into a kid. Quite a transformation Only last year, she was just on the sidelines watching all the holiday fun.. and now? well...

Anyway, Im such a busy busy busy mom that I had all the time to review our 2009

It's really nice that I have something to read back, and remember the moments and the feelings all over again... I never imagined myself writing a diary or journal like about my life before, but I guess babies can turn you from a happy go lucky girl to a sentimental person

The thing is, I enjoy sharing my baby's life with you...

So here (due to boredom) I thought of compiling them with my chosen quotes from each post ... hope you enjoy my dramas... i actually cant believe i wrote those things ....

10-11 weeks
**Before, I couldn't imagine my life with a kid, until we have Her. I had so much dreams for myself. And now I can’t imagine my life without Her. My dreams are not only for myself, but for my family as well. My honey felt the same way...

Anzu not feeling well
**Ganun pala feeling being a MOm, konting sakit lang, di na mapakali.. I tend to forget she's sick whenever she smiles, pero back to being worried naman when she coughs.

on her 3rd month
**OH MY... it's been 3 months already,?... my baby is growing. She already weighs about 6 kilos =( Im happy but lil sad... I'll surely gonna miss her baby days. Before we know it, she's going to school already huhuh.. lol

Well of course I'm happy. I've seen her grow up this whole 3 months. We're together 24/7 (although sometimes I go out for shopping ). I see the changes that sometimes amaze us. I'm the one who see almost All her "first"..

Okuizume
Azumi has just turned 100 days . In Japan, a baby celebrates a ceremony called Okuizume which literally means first meal of one's life.

3 months and a week
She really enjoys waving her hands while pumping feet during active hours
Her kicks are getting stronger. Her hands are trying to reach for something, but she still can't......

Its overwhelming when you see your child doing some new things... It's been a wonderful 3 months and 3 weeks with our baby now.Her smile is always been a good thing to start a wonderful day .

**... newborn babies tend to smile alot especially when they are sleeping. Anzu smiles alot even when she was a day old. My camera was always besides me, waiting for her to smile.

This is what I love in Japan. Children ages 0-6 years old have the priveledge of free check ups and vaccinations.

Preggy Pics
In my whole life... Knowing we were 6 weeks pregnant is the happiest moment... Being pregnant to our first baby is the most wonderful part.... Giving birth to our lil princess is the sweetest pain I have ever felt.... Our lil Anzu gave meaning to our life....

My 4 Months Old Baby
** Giving up my job with a nice salary to become a full time stay at home m0mma (& a wifey) is all worth it. I wouldn't want to miss anything special from my baby's milestones of development.

** When I was still pregnant, I was already determined to breastfeed my baby even though I didn't have the idea of how would I do it. I heard alot of situations that there are many moms who couldn't breastfeed their babies because they just can't...

OHINASAMA
i so much enjoy the Japan's rich culture. Im lucky to be part of it now because I have a Japanese daughter. Im glad to have a husband who whole heartedly shares their culture to me, and willingly like to teach our (future)children not only their culture, but also my culture =) I know, my kids will be happy and proud to be half Filipino and Japanese when they grow up . Coz you know, I know some half filipino kids who don't want to be labeled as filipino

Bath Time
One of my favorite routine of the day ( I guess my baby too ) is BABY BATH TIME . Perhaps this is the main part where we can bond with our lil dollie since I couldn't do it all by myself.
